– Named to the “Centex 25” as one of the top senior football recruits in Central Texas by the Waco Tribune-Herald.
– Finished 2016 season with the following career numbers (ALL school records): 2781 receiving yards, 175 catches, 24 receiving TDs.

– Named 1st Team All-District for the third straight season.

  • As a junior he was the regular season top receiver in Central Texas across all classifications (reported by Waco Tribune-Herald). He finished the year with a school record 82 catches for 1372 yards and 11 TDs in 11 games. He received the following honors:
    • 2015 Padilla Poll First Team All-State WR
    • 2015 Super Centex First Team WR
    • 2015 All ESPN Central Texas First Team WR
    • 2015 Associated Press All-State WR (honorable mention)
